Forty-five people are now employed in non-manufacturing positions by the company in question at Tallaght. I have asked the IDA to make a special effort to find new industries for the Tallaght area. Arising from the recent temporary location of an IDA information centre at Tallaght, mainly aimed at identifying possible industrial projects by redundant workers from the company in question, the authority is at present discussing with interested parties a number of new industrial proposals.
