asked the Taoiseach the number of pigs exported to Northern Ireland in 1983.

(Dún Laoghaire): I propose to take Questions Nos. 11 and 12 together.

Imports of pigs from Northern Ireland in the period January—November 1983, the latest period for which such information is available, numbered 484,800. Exports of pigs to Northern Ireland in the same period numbered 42,255.
