Allocations for 1984 have not yet been made with the exception of house purchase and improvement loans. In the case of the grants in relief of rates and in lieu of the agricultural grant, rating authorities have been informed that the overall 1984 Estimates provision should enable the allocations to each local authority to be increased by about 0.8 per cent subject to allowance for commitments from previous years. Information on the 1982 and 1983 allocations are as follows together with details of the 1984 allocations for house purchase and improvement loans.
