Vol. 350 No. 13

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

553.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason a headage grant for 1983 has not yet been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Longford; and if he will arrange immediate payment.

The person named has been paid this grant already.

554.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

Applications for 1982 and 1983 headage grants by the person named will be processed as soon as he submits income tax assessment forms for tax years ended 5 April 1982 and 5 April 1983.

555.

Mr. Coughlan

asked the Minister for Agriculture when payment under the 1981 suckler cow scheme will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Donegal.

My Department are not satisfied from the information available to them that the person named qualifies as a full-time farmer under the EEC suckler cow scheme but her application will be reconsidered if and when she produces documentary evidence (e.g. mart and factory dockets etc.) to show that her farm income was, in fact, 50 per cent or more of her total income.
