There is no record of an application having been received by my Department or by the military authorities from the person concerned for a certificate that he held a driving permit (Army Form 154) to drive the classes of vehicles for which a licence is required. Arrangements are now being made by the military authorities to issue the necessary certificate to him. This certificate should be forwarded to the appropriate licensing authority with the usual application form for a civilian driving licence.
