Responsibility for the management and operation of Burtonport Pier rests with Donegal County Council. The council have been advised by my Department that should they wish to have bye-laws made for the regulation of Burtonport Pier drafts of the proposed bye-laws should be submitted to me for consideration. Any proposals from the county council in this matter will be dealt with as quickly as possible.
