Vol. 355 No. 1

Written Answers. - County Wexford Hospitals.

385.

asked the Minister for Health if he will ensure that a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be given work as stipulated in the agreement when the Haughton hospital closed and the patients and staff transferred to the fever hospital, New Ross.

The person in question was offered employment by the South Eastern Health Board in accordance with the terms agreed. I understand that the offer was refused.

386.

asked the Minister for Health in view of the grave concern among patients and their relations and staff at St. Senan's Hospital, Enniscorthy, County Wexford, if he will state his future plans for St. Senan's Hospital which has done tremendous work for the mentally ill down through the years.

I do not know to what concern the Deputy is referring. I have at this time no plans which should cause specific concern in relation to St. Senan's Hospital.
