The cost of official car transport for each Member of Government is carried on the Vote of the Department of Justice. An amount of £8,807 was refunded to my Minister of State for transport costs while a further sum of £28,125 was paid by way of salary and expenses of two drivers provided for the Minister of State.

The figures do not include the costs of air transport provided for me and the Minister of State by the Air Corps and met from the Defence Vote — the costs are not available on an individual basis.
