Vol. 355 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

331.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a grant for a group water scheme will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Cavan.

My Department are preparing an estimate of cost with a view to allocating State grants at an early date for a group scheme which will provide a water supply to the person named and other householders in the locality. Any grants allocated will be paid to the group concerned when work carried out has been examined by my Department's inspector.

332.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reasons a home improvement grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway, despite the fact that a final inspection was carried out on the property in November 1984; the amount of grant and the date it will be paid; and if he will make a statement on this matter.

There has been no undue delay in this case. Grants totalling £1,000 will be paid shortly.
