Vol. 355 No. 7

Written Answers. - Dog Licences.

457.

asked the Minister for Finance the amount of money collected in respect of dog licences for 1983 and 1984.

The amount of duty collected in respect of dog licences was £130,000 in 1983 and £455,000 in 1984. The increased receipts in 1984 reflect the increase in the rate of duty from £1 to £5 per dog with effect from 1 January of that year.
