, Limerick East): I am informed by the Garda authorities that the person referred to did not make a statement to the Garda in November 1983 concerning an alleged assault. I am also informed that he has been interviewed by the Garda in the context of a complaint made on his behalf by his solicitors about the alleged assault but he has declined to make a statement in the matter.
