The applications of schools for remedial teaching posts are examined in my Department and posts are allotted to the schools from the available allocation of teachers in accordance with a priority of need. The application from the two schools in question has not yet been placed sufficiently high in order of priority of need to warrant the allocation of a post. The application will be considered again in the light of future allocations of remedial teaching posts.
