Vol. 355 No. 10

Written Answers. - Shankill (Dublin) Tree Felling.

478.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the progress which has been made in the promised review of legislation arising from the felling of trees at Dorney Court, Shankill, County Dublin; and when it is intended to introduce the amending legislation.

The review has taken place and draft legislative proposals have been formulated. The normal consultation process with other relevant Departments is currently under way. I expect to be in a position to seek Government approval of the proposals shortly with a view to introducing the Bill before the summer recess.
