I am informed by Shannon Development that small industry units comprising 67,000 sq. ft. approximately are at present vacant in County Clare. Approximately 36,000 sq. ft. of this space has already been allocated to new small industry projects most of which are expected to be established during 1985. The remainder of the factory space is being actively promoted for industrial purposes by Shannon Development in co-operation with the Clare County Development Team.
