Approval to seek tenders for the erection of the new school referred to by the Deputy has recently been conveyed to the chief executive officer of the County Meath Vocational Education Committee and my Department now await hearing from him regarding the results of the tender competition. Pending the clearance of a satisfactory tender, I am not in a position to say precisely when construction work will be commenced.
