Vol. 359 No. 9

Written Answers. - Certificate of Naturalisation.

349.

asked the Minister for Justice the reason for the delay in the consideration of the application for naturalisation on behalf of a person (details supplied) in Dublin; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Limerick East): The reason for the delay in finalising this application was the difficulty, due to his frequent changes of address and employment, in assessing the applicant in relation to the statutory conditions for the granting of a certificate of naturalisation. I have decided now to grant him a certificate of naturalisation. My Department will contact him in the near future concerning finalisation of the remaining formalities.

Question No. 350 withdrawn.
