Vol. 359 No. 9

Written Answers. - Disabled Person's Maintenance Allowance.

116.

asked the Minister for Health the reason for the continued delay in making payment of a disabled person's maintenance allowance to a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if he is aware of the hardship being imposed on this family because of the delay.

Continued difficulties are being experienced by the health board in relation to the assessment of the applicant's means. When the person in question submits the necessary information to the health board a decision on the application will be made without delay.
