Following an announcement earlier this year of my intention to review the need for the central waste transfer facility proposed at Baldonnell, I established a small expert group to examine and make recommendations to me on various proposals submitted to me for the development of disposal services in the private sector. The group's recommendations were recently submitted to me and are being examined. I am not in a position for the present to make any further statement in the matter.
