Vol. 363 No. 4

Written Answers. - Kerry Forest.

87.

asked the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry the immediate employment potential in relation to the two thousand acres of forestry in the Castlegregory Forest, County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter, stating the long term potential for this forestry.

There are at present six men employed in Castlegregory Forest. This complement is sufficient to carry out the existing programme of work and it is not envisaged that it will be necessary to increase the level of staffing there in the foreseeable future.
