Cases, such as that of the area superintendents, are covered by a package of proposals on the 25th round and other pay related matters which emerged from negotiations with certain public service groups. I am still awaiting the formal response of the staff panel under the Civil Service conciliation and arbitration scheme to this package in so far as Civil Service groups are concerned. It would not be appropriate for me, therefore, to make any comment at this time on the position of area superintendents.
