asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make a statement regarding the present position of the proposed motorway scheme for the Western Parkway, Tallaght Road to Galway Road; and, in particular, if he will comment on the resolution adopted by Dublin County Council, persuant to the City and County Management Act, 1955, so far as the said scheme will affect connections with the Kilnamanagh estate, Tallaght, County Dublin.

I expect to be in a position in the near future to make an order in relation to the Dublin County Council (Western Parkway, Tallaght Road-Galway Road) motorway scheme, 1985. In view of my quasi-judicial function in this matter, the Deputy will appreciate that it would not be appropriate for me to make further comment at this stage.
