A design team has been appointed for this project and I am awaiting submission of a revised planning brief. A difficulty has arisen in relation to the selection of a site for the nursing unit. A site which is being considered would, because of the ground conditions, involve large abnormal costs. I have asked the health board to consider how these extra costs might be met or, as an alternative, to seek another site.
