Vol. 366 No. 8

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

161.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the reasons a silage grant is not being paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway; if he will make immediate payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The grant which was inadvertently delayed, will be paid as soon as possible.

162.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan will receive a headage payment.

The person named has been paid his 1985 calf premium grant already. He was deemed ineligible for payment of grants under the 1985 suckler cow premium and cattle headage schemes because of his refusal to allow the Department's inspecting officer to inspect his herd.
