Vol. 367 No. 3

Written Answers. - Medical Examinations.

57.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if she will ensure that medical doctors engaged in assessing referrals of people on disability or any other insurance will give their name to the people whom they are examining.

The position is that insured persons who attend for medical examination are informed, on inquiring, as to the name of the doctor conducting the examination. Arrangements have been made for the display of the doctor's name at all examination sessions and it is hoped to have this done shortly.
