In the north-west NMS region which includes counties Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim, there are currently 1,430 persons employed in 210 projects. Since January 1986, a total of £1,323,237 has been spent on SES projects in the north-west region.

Cloonfad development association submitted an application under the social employment scheme (SES) to employ one worker to carry out general maintenance work in the Cloonfad area.

The completed application was received in my Department on 30 May 1986 and it will be considered by the SES monitoring committee at its next meeting on Friday, 6 June 1986.
