Vol. 369 No. 5

Written Answers. - Application for Enterprise Allowance Scheme.

169.

asked the Minister for Labour if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford who has applied for the enterprise allowance scheme will be approved in view of the urgent circumstances relating to his proposal to set up a business; and when such an approval will be issued even if payments are issued on a deferred basis.

The person in question formally applied to join the Enterprise allowance scheme in October.

Certain aspects of this application require further clarification. I have arranged to have the necessary inquiries completed as a matter of urgency and the person concerned will be informed of the outcome as soon as possible.
