Vol. 369 No. 11

Written Answers. - Proposed All-Irish Ballymun School.

183.

asked the Minister for Education whether he has completed his examination of the comprehensive submission made to him, confirming the urgent need for a Scoil Pobail Lan Gaelach in Ballymun, Dublin in order to cater for the educational capacities and requirements of many students in Dublin northside; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee made an application to my Department for the provision of an all-Irish vocational school in Ballymun. A detailed examination of the case has been carried out in my Department, and I have decided, after careful consideration of all the factors that the application should be rejected. The committee has been advised of the decision.
