asked the Minister for the Environment when a home improvement grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Louth.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant from the person named at the address given. An application was, however, received from a person with the same name and from a broadly similar address. In that case the grant will be paid within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to pay a home improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

The grant will be paid within the next few weeks.

asked the Minister for the Environment when an inspector will call to a person (details supplied) in County Clare, who applied for a house improvement grant in February or March.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a house improvement grant under the current scheme from the person named. A grant was, however, approved under the 1981 scheme and notification of completion of the work is awaited.

In case the person named should wish to apply for a grant under the current scheme an application form and explanatory memorandum has been sent to him. Work should not commence until an inspection has been carried out after receipt of an application.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the non-payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

Payment of a grant in this case will be further considered on the receipt in the Department of information requested from the applicant relating to the carrying out of the work.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the person named.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange to pay a home improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Cork.

A grant cannot be paid in this case because, contrary to a condition of the scheme, the dwelling was in use as a holiday home at final inspection stage.

82.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in paying moneys due under the 1985 house improvement scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick; and when these moneys will be paid.

There has been no undue delay and the grant will be paid within the next few weeks.
