Vol. 370 No. 5

Written Answers. - Churchtown (Cork) School Transport.

174.

asked the Minister for Education if he will provide a school transport service from Churchtown, County Cork, to post primary schools in Charleville, County Cork, in view of the fact that a full range of practical subjects is not available in the present catchment area.

The Buttevant post primary education centre, within whose catchment area Churchtown lies, is considered to be an adequate centre. In the circumstances, the provision of a school transport service from Churchtown to the Ráthluirc centre would be contrary to the terms of the post primary school transport scheme.
