Limerick East): I have been informed by the Industrial Development Authority that it is actively promoting the Finn Valley area as a suitable industrial location.
A "one-stop-shop" located in the IDA's regional office in Letterkenny provides information on the full range of assistance for industrial development available from all State agencies. This one-stop-shop can provide valuable assistance to those starting off in business for the first time or wishing to expand. It would be advisable for persons in the Finn Valley area who are interested in setting up or expanding a manufacturing undertaking to contact the one-stop-shop.
Manufacturing employment in the area has increased by approximately 8 per cent in the period 1984-86.
