Vol. 370 No. 11

Written Answers. - Companies Office.

37.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the reason the file of a company (details supplied) incorporated under the Companies Acts, 1963 to 1983, registered in Ireland, was not available for inspection in the Companies Office when it was requested by a firm of very reputable solicitors on 4 December 1986; and if he will give instructions to the Companies Office to have the file available for inspection without further delay.

Limerick East): The file in question was not available on Thursday, 4 December 1986 as it had been issued earlier on the same day to another searcher. A notification that the file was again available was posted to the solicitors in question on Monday, 8 December 1986.

In cases of extreme urgency files can, on request, be made available under a specially accelerated procedure. No such request was received in respect of the file in question.
