Vol. 371 No. 10

Written Answers. - Driving Test.

77.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in arranging a driving test for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where the necessary application form and information has been submitted to his Department.

In reply to Question No. 93 put down by the Deputy on 18 November 1986 on this case, he was advised by my predecessor that a test would be arranged within about four weeks of the receipt of a further valid application from the person concerned. While a completed application form was received in December last, it was not accompanied by the required fee of £28. The application could not, therefore, be regarded as a valid application. On receipt of this fee, the promised arrangements for a test will be fulfilled.
