A full list of the State-sponsored bodies, excluding health boards, funded by this Department together with the notified allocations for 1987 are shown in the schedule attached.
These agencies are required to submit annual audited financial accounts which includes an Income and Expenditure Account in standard format. 1986 audited accounts have been received from all of these bodies except:
Children's Sunshine Home; Cork Dental Hospital; Our Lady's Hospital, Crumlin, Sir Patrick Duns.
These audited accounts are subject to scrutiny by the C. & A.G. and reported on by him to the Public Accounts Committee.
