A £2,000 grant is paid only where the applicant satisfies the Department that, in accordance with the terms of the contract, specified payments at 10 per cent VAT rate were made on or after 1 May 1985. In this case the rate of grant applicable is £1,000 which will be paid within the next few weeks.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the person named at the address given. There is however an application from a person with a slightly different name from the same address. In that case a grant has been approved.
