Vol. 373 No. 1

Estimates 1987. - Vote 45: International Co-Operation (Revised Estimate).

I move:

That a sum not exceeding £24,902,000 be granted to defray the charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of December, 1987, for contributions to International Organisations and for certain Official Development Assistance, including certain grants-in-aid.

Acting Chairman

As it is now 1.30 p.m., in accordance with the Order of the House I am required to put the following questions: "That in relation to the proceedings on Vote No. 44, Office of the Minister for Foreign Affairs (Revised Estimate) and Vote No. 45, International Co-operation (Revised Estimate), the debate is hereby concluded and the Votes are hereby agreed to". Is this agreed?

In view of the cutbacks in Overseas Development Aid we are not supporting it.

Question put.

Acting Chairman

The division is postponed until 8.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 3 June 1987.
