Vol. 373 No. 4

Written Answers. - Location of Overseas Offices.

113.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce the progress made, since the publication of the White Paper on Industrial Policy, in implementing the provisions of paragraph 13.12 thereof concerning the location in one building in overseas cities of the offices of Irish State agencies under his aegis.

In so far as leasing commitments and operational requirements have allowed, the Industrial Development Authority and Córas Tráchtála have endeavoured to locate their overseas offices in the same building in accordance with paragraph 13.12 of the White Paper on Industrial Policy.

The position at present is that IDA and CTT share accommodation in London, Stockholm, Milan and Sydney and are considering the question of sharing an office in Amsterdam. The position in regard to other locations will be kept under review.
