The payment in this case was made on 10 June 1987 and covered a recruitment in March 1986, under the scheme. Normally a claim form for payment would have been sent to the employer concerned in September 1986. However, due to an administrative error the claim form was not despatched until 29 April 1987. My Department has already expressed its regret to the employer at the delay in payment.
