Vol. 373 No. 13

Written Answers. - Income Tax Liability.

86.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will examine the case of a person (details supplied) in County Waterford who is in receipt of an old age contributory pension, as she contends she is paying excessive income tax.

The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that on the basis of the information supplied, they are unable to trace the taxpayer in their records. If the taxpayer's revenue and social number is supplied to her inspector, together with any additional information the inspector may require, the matter will be examined.
