A total sum of £3.1 million is available for the development of both fishery and commercial harbours in 1988 and this money will be allocated to priority projects.
A proposal for the development of the Bannow Bay area fishing and recreational activities has been received from the Bannow Bay Development Association. This proposal is being examined in conjunction with other projects for which grant assistance has been sought.
