Vol. 378 No. 9

Written Answers. - Tallaght Two Petitions.

49.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will make a statement regarding the petitions he has on hand in respect of the Tallaght Two, Meleady and Grogan; and if he will now consider giving a favourable response to these petitions.

As the Deputy will be aware, there were matters related to this case before the courts until recently which made it inappropriate for me to consider the matter further at that stage. However, I now expect to be in a position to respond to the petition shortly and I will communicate my response to the Deputy.
