The Aquaculture Advisory Group have not as yet been established. My Department will, however, shortly be issuing invitations to join the group which it is intended to represent all facets of the aquaculture industry.
While it will be for the group to adopt terms of reference, I see their purpose as advising me on all aspects of aquaculture development in addition to formalising and rendering more efficient present consultation procedures in the industry.
