Vol. 380 No. 9

Written Answers. - Loughs Corrib/Mask Policing.

11.

asked the Minister for Justice the cost to the Exchequer of having gardaí on patrol on Lough Corrib and Lough Mask since the beginning of March 1988 with the exception of Easter weekend.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the patrols in question are being performed mainly by members on ordinary rostered tours of duty and that the additional cost involved to the Garda Síochána Vote since the beginning of March is estimated at £1,500.
