asked the Minister for Education if, having regard to the tremendous work done by the KARE Association in County Kildare, in catering for handicapped children, she will favourably consider an application for capital funding, from KARE for funds from the national lottery in order to assist in the completion of facilities and the provision of extra facilities in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

No application has been received from the association to which the Deputy refers. The capital grant scheme for the provision of recreational facilities administered by my Department is restricted to projects undertaken by voluntary community organisations.
