Vol. 385 No. 6

Written Answers. - County Tipperary National School Development.

275.

asked the Minister for Education the present position regarding proposals for development of Ballinree national school, County Tipperary; when the plans will come to fruition; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Having regard to the demands on my Department's 1989 capital allocation for national school building, and the falling trend of enrolments at Ballinree national school, County Tipperary, my Department find it necessary to review the scope of the building scheme proposed for grant-aid in this case. The matter is at present being carefully examined by my Department's professional advisers and the outcome will be conveyed to the school authorities as soon as possible.
