asked the Minister for Defence the venues and functions at which he and the Minister of State at his Department will attend on St. Patrick's Day, 1989.

(Limerick West)): I hope to visit Irish troops serving in Lebanon during the tour of duty of the present battalion; if circumstances permit the visit will take place on St. Patrick's Day.

I understand that the details requested in respect of the Minister of State at my Department who is also Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach are being included by the Taoiseach in a reply to a similar question.

asked the Minister for Education the venues and functions at which she and the Minister of State at her Department will attend on St. Patrick's Day, 1989.

To date I have received and accepted invitations to review the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Athlone and Moate, County Westmeath.

No arrangements have as yet been made by the Minister of State at my Department to attend functions on St. Patrick's Day.
