The representations in question concern the social employment scheme condition whereby, in order to be eligible to participate in the scheme, applicants must be in receipt of unemployment assistance.
As I stated in my reply to Dáil Question No. 5 on this issue on 1 December 1988, I have no proposals to make the change suggested by the Community Centre Federation.
