The Revenue Commissioners have advised me that a cheque was issued to the taxpayer on 27 February 1989, in respect of his claim for repayment of tax on the grounds of unemployment. If the taxpayer remains unemployed, he may submit further claims for repayment of tax deducted in the current year.
