The provision for consultancy services is largely a contingency one and consultants are engaged as the need arises. It is not possible therefore to give specific details in advance.
To date, in 1989, only two consultants have been engaged by my Department viz:—Mr. P. Chambers, Ecotoxicologist, Trinity College, Dublin. His services may be required on two further occasions this year, and Dr. M. Redmond, Solicitor.
The services of both the above consultants will also be required by the Department in 1990.
In 1988, the following consultants were used—Mr. P. Chambers, Ecotoxicologist, Trinity College, Dublin; Dr. M. Redmond, Solicitor, Market Research Bureau of Ireland, Irish Pensions Trust.
