asked the Minister for Labour (a) the number of persons who are on FÁS training schemes in each county in Ireland, (b) the number of persons who were on such schemes during the years 1987 and 1988, (c) the amount of money spent on such schemes over the above period and (d) the amount which has been allocated for 1989.

The information requested by the Deputy, at (a) in regard to each county, is concerned with day to day activities of FÁS and it is suggested that the Deputy contact FÁS direct in the matter. The total number of participants on FÁS training programmes at end March 1989 was 13,536.
