Vol. 388 No. 5

Written Answers. - Legislation to Prohibit Peeping-Tom Behaviour.

73.

asked the Minister for Justice whether there is a need for legislation to prohibit peeping-Tom behaviour; whether the Government have any plans to introduce such legislation; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The Law Reform Commission's Report on Vagrancy and Related Offences contains a recommendation relating to the matter to which the Deputy refers. Examination of that report is proceeding as quickly as other urgent demands on my Department's resources permit and any legislative proposals which may arise therefrom will be announced in the normal way.
